RUST REPAIR

This page shows you how we handle rust - with pieces of metal taken from other cars and carefully welded in place.  We're lucky to have a craftsman for our metal repair - he's like a sculptor in metal. 

Some clients just can't let their cars go and it's a lot of work to get the cars so the rust won't come back.  Before we weld the new pieces in place, we treat the inner areas with rust stop so they can never rust again.

Here are some before and after photos to show you what it takes. 

Sometimes the repairs need very careful work, like rebuilding the lip with folded metal on this turn signal recess for Lois's red tii. 

Some wheel wells can be treated with rust stop and repaired, other times we just replace them with good wheels wells.
